The production of a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Cerasuolo (Cerry Colour) is a classic one for rose' wines, with only a brief period of skin contact with the skins. Cerasuolo is the wine of love, with is charming colour and fresh smell. Cerasuolo is a very versatile wine with the food, suitable for meat dishes, particulary in the summer months, and for hors d'oeuvres, soap and pasta, and fish in tomato sauce and Mediterranean herbs the whole year long. Serve slightly chilled, 12°-13°C.
